After just two years of air rifle shooting 17-year-old John Coombes has managed an 11th placing at his first international scale competition, the Commonwealth Shooting Federation Championships held in India in February.
The Cooma Monaro Under 14s cricket side played Marist Brothers in the semi final in the ACT cricket competition and continued their unbeaten season to make it through to the Grand Final.
