11 Mar 10 | Monaro played the Treloar/Griffin shield at Bega last week with four representative cricket sides taking part in the under 23’s, under 16’s, under 14’s and under 12’s.
Eight athletes off to State
11 Mar 10 | Cooma regional team was a small one this year compared to other years in the past. There were only 10 athletes representing Cooma at the Regional Champs. Of the 10 athletes eight were able to qualify through to the ACT Little A’s State Championships in three weeks at the AIS Track in Bruce.
Bredbo brothers impress at Thredbo

18 Feb 10 | The Cooma Ex-Services Club sponsored the Snowy Mountains Amateur Championship, which was played over 36-holes on Saturday in wet conditions. One hundred and twenty golfers hit off on Saturday in the Tournament.

16 Feb 10 | Another large field contested the Wednesday morning Single Stableford Competition last week, which resulted in a victory to Richard Hanna who surged home to run out a 2pts winner from Malcolm Crockett and Rohan Smiles.
11 Feb 10 | The Cooma Ex-Services Club Snowy Mountains Amateur Golf Championship is on this Saturday but keen golfers have one more thing to remember. Entries close Wednesday for the following weekend’s tournament.
Shooter off to Delhi
11 Feb 10 | On Tuesday, Michelago’s John Coombes, 17, heads to Delhi, India to compete in the Commonwealth Shooting Federation Championships. India marks his first trip overseas and he will travel with coaches and other shooters.
Michelago gymkhana grows
