Cooma's double shot at grand final

17 Sep, 2009 01:01 PM
BOTH the Lady Tigers and Beavers will travel to Canberra this weekend to contest the grand finals of the Capital Football women’s league in divisions three and four.

First up are the Lady Tigers at 11am, who will face off against Weston Creek for premiership glory.

The division three match will be followed by division four at 3pm vying to steal the cup away from a contentious Belnorth.

Team mascots will be groomed and ready to join a healthy Cooma cheer squad on the sidelines to spur the ladies on as they put in a super performance.

Hopefully the two women’s sides can take back to back titles and bring home the trophies to finish out what has been another successful year for both sides.
