The Monaro sheepdog trial championship was held in Bredbo last weekend with over 130 competitors travelling from all over NSW and Victoria.
There were about 331 dogs competing in the prestigious three day event, with many state and national champions in their ranks.
The atmosphere was relaxed but the competition was fierce as the skill of the handler and dog were tested as three sheep are moved around an obstacle course and penned in 15 minutes or less.
