Christmas means different things to many people, but for the littlies, there is a special magic, particularly when the Big Man in the Red Suit is involved.
Santa has already made a couple of appearances around town, at the VIEW Day Club's Christmas party for example, and at the council's staff annual picnic day.
So, in a country town, how do you get in touch with Santa? Do you text, or email, and how do you know he's got your message?
In Cooma, it's easy, although perhaps old-fashioned - you write to him, and mail it, in the special mail box at the Post Office supplied by the Lions Club of Cooma.
And here's the good part - Santa will write back to you.
You don't need a postage stamp but you do need to supply your name and address.
So put pen to paper, kiddies, and let Santa know just how good you are (and, just in case, let Mum and Dad know too).
