Cats continue good form

The Cooma Cats continued their good form to remain at the top of the competition ladder with a win over Alpine on Saturday. Mitch Hynes blasted 102 runs to lead the Cats to a first innings total of 198.

Nathan Boate and Adam Schofield put on 40 and 43 runs respectively but it wasn't enough to secure a win for Alpine who were all out for 164.

Iain Elliott had a strong game for the Cats with 46 with the bat. Hugh Allen and Corey Tucker were best with the ball for the Cats taking 2/27 and 2/28.

They share the top spot on the ladder with the Berridale Whitetales and the Jindabyne Tigers who both had good wins on the weekend.

Berridale 7/252 defeated Cooma Cannons all out for 70, while Jindabyne 2/121 defeated Coffeys all out 120.
