Kristian picks up silver

Kristian Zusak along with his brother Nicholas and sister Alyssa as well as Jordan Davis attended ACT Little Athletics Association State Multi-Event November 22.

Kristian competed in the Under 8s boys and collected second place overall with a tremendous tally for the four events of his Tetrathlon with 420 points.

Kristians results for four events were:

In the 60 mts 3rd, time 12.31 sec, Long Jump 5th leaping 2.82 mts, Shot Put 12th heaving 5.49 mts, 200 mts 1st to record 36.27 seconds which was a personal best performance by over two seconds.

Jordan Davis came 15th with 544 points with some outstanding performances. He placed 20th out of 34 contestants in the 100 mts with 18.69 sec- a personal best, equal 10th in the High Jump clearing 1.00 mts, another personal best, 21st in the 800 mts with 3m24.31 sec, also a personal best and second at the Shot Put with a heave of 6.72 mts.

In the under 11s Nicholas Zusak scored high in his age group coming in 6th place with 758 points. Nicholas creamed the field in the 100 mts in 14.46 sec. In the Long Jump Nicolas placed second with a leap of 3.96 mts. His 800 mts saw him cross the finish line in 12th position in 3m 06.47 secs while in Shot Put he could only manage 5.33 mts.

Alyssa Zusak was up against some seasoned athletes and finished in 22nd place with 458 points.

She finished 10th in the 100 mts in 15.69 sec with a personal best. In the High Jump Allysa fouled out on the opening height. In the 800 mts she came 10th with a time of 3m 06.23 sec- a personal best. In Discus Alyssa place 21st with 10.40 mts- another personal best.
