Cooling off during the hot and dusty morning were Adaminaby riders Julie Bird, Megan Hayes and Jo Miners. Julie won the encouragement draft event riding her mare Esmay and Jo participated in the encouragement draft and Maiden 2 events riding Ashlyn Pearl.

It was an action-packed weekend at the Adaminaby Racecourse as the annual Adaminaby Campdraft event took place.
There were more than 700 runs over the two day event.
Competitiors came from as far as Victoria, Canberra, Goulburn, and Bega to contest six events on Saturday and five on Sunday.
There were plenty of locals in the mix too, including Ben Dowton, Elizabeth Maxwell, Michelle O'Neill, Simone Hart, Allan Guthry and Paul Miners.
