PLANNING for the 2013 Easter Fair is gaining momentum with the committee meeting on a regular basis. Each year the Fair gets bigger and better with more stalls and things to see and do. The ducks for the ever popular Wacky Quacky Duck Race have all been checked and are raring to go. This year first prize is $700 for a $2.00 investment. The various competitions are being organised including the Dog High Jump for both large and small dogs. Fisherman can get involved in the Trout Tossing competition or you can form a team and enter the Tug of War. Most of these competitions are free to enter.
The popular petting farm will be there as will the blow-up castle etc.

This year the CWA is sponsoring the Young Entrepreneurs who are young people aged 18 years and under who can have a stall on the CWA grounds. The CWA is also sponsoring the Easter Bonnet parade. To book a stall for a Young Entrepreneur, ring Judy on 6454 1624.
Great food and produce will also be on offer. The Bowlers with their BBQ, the CWA with their tea and scones as well as the shops all putting on specials for the day. The Old Bank will be open. Of course there are a number of stalls selling delicacies and the famed Batlow apples will be there plus some new surprises.
To round off the day, why not visit the Snowy Scheme Museum and see the terrific work done to preserve the history of the Snowy Scheme. The Museum will be open from 10am to 2 pm.
