Celebrating 50 years of Red Devils, Cooma Rugby Club will kick off the 2013 season this week with registration days for senior and junior players.
Ready to continue on from their very successful 2012 season the senior teams have already started training with their first trial games against RMC in March. Training starts at 6pm on Tuesday and Thursday at Rotary Oval. Tuesday February 26 is their first registration night with a free barbecue to get things started. They are looking forward to welcoming some new (and old) players back for the 50th anniversary year so come along and catch up with the lads.
Also training with the seniors this year are the Junior Red Devils Under 18s. It's been a while since Cooma has fielded an Under 18s team and the boys are keen to make an impression on the competition this year. They are looking to expand their ranks so come along on Tuesday for more information and a free feed.
The Cooma Junior Rugby Union Club continues to grow from strength to strength with great support from our families and coaching teams. The Cooma Juniors have a great reputation in our competition and our club prides itself on our player skills development in all areas. The Juniors commenced playing TAG on Thursday February 21 with the first registration day on Thursday February 28 with a free sausage sizzle from 4pm at Rotary Oval.
