Bredbo's Andrew Crimmins was crowned the under 17 national champion at the Australian National mountain bike championship on Sunday.
His brother Thomas placed second in the under 19s event.
Some of the best riders across Australia converged at Mount Stromlo in Canberra for the Australian National Championships over the weekend.
In wet conditions, Andrew put together a clean race run to claim the win by more than 10 seconds.
With a large amount of water on the track, Thomas' race didn't go as well as he had hoped, and after seeding first, he placed second in the under 19s.
The good results come off the back of a successful start to the year for both Andrew and Thomas.
They are both taking part in the three round, National Series which got underway in Mt Buller on January 18.
Thomas seeded in first place and also took the win in U19s. Andrew also seeded first but unfortunately he hit a tree in his race run and came to as standstill but still managed to finish in second place by only 0.2 of a second.
The second round saw the boys race on their "home track" Thredbo February 8-10.
As they are so familiar with the track, they both went into the race looking to get up as much speed as possible, and keep up with changes as other riders practiced on it.
Andrew won his race by 24 seconds. He said he was "stoked" with his race and felt as though it was the perfect race run.
His result would have placed him in third position in the Elite men. He is now leading the series in under 17s.
Thomas managed to retain the leaders jersey with a win in the under 19s.
He said his seeding run wasn't as clean as he would have liked and heading into the race wanted to ensure it was a clean and fast run.
He took two seconds of his seeding run and was happy with the result.
He also won the Pump Track Challenge.
Thomas needs to compete in the National Series to be eligible to be selected to represent Australia again at the World Championships in South Africa this year. With the two first places he has go so far, he is well on the way to fulfilling that goal.
Round 3 will be held at Bright in Victoria on March 15-17.
Both Andrew and Thomas would like to thank their sponsors Giant Bicycle Australia and Thredbo MTB.
