Lambie Street preschoolers with their hard hats on, look on as construction works take place.
Lambie Street preschool is calling all former students, parents, and community members to join its Memory Walk. The preschool is planning a memorial walk for all present and past students who are "following their rainbow".
Preschool director Cathy Toohey encouraged the community to get behind the fundraiser.
"With our building extension approval, work has commenced. We intend on incorporating a paved memory walk into these works and enhancing the preschool gardens," she said.
Children can design their own, and written messages can also be engraved onto a paver.
"Community based preschools need to raise funds for service enhancement and we ask the whole community to get behind our fundraiser," Mrs Toohey said.
Pavers cost $35 and you can design your own designs, drawings, children's names and messages will be a lasting memories at Lambie Street Preschool.
