It was a community event with a difference - to thank the local fire fighters for their unrelenting efforts over the summer months to protect life and property. The Shannons Flat community got together to pay their respects and demonstrate their gratitude and there was a free barbecue, musical entertainment, raffles galore and plenty of entertainment and good company. A great event in an even better cause.
