The Cooma Red Devils Rugby Union Club will be hoping to cap off its 50 year anniversary with a premiership title, as the second grade side contest the Grand Final this weekend.
The second grade side will be out to avenge their loss of Goulburn in the 2012 grand final, when they go head to head with this year's minor premiers in a fight for the premiership title.
In a rematch of last year's grand final the Red Devils take on Goulburn at Goulburn this Saturday.
The Cooma side will be hoping to turn the tables on Goulburn after succumbing to them last year in a close encounter going down 10 points to three.
The disappointing loss will still be fresh in the minds of some of the players who will be playing again this year for the title, something coach Aron Rogers hopes will spur on his team.
"Several players know what that [losing a grand final] feels like," he said.
"We want to avenge that and try to beat Goulburn in their own backyard and bring the trophy home."
While Goulburn have the home ground advantage Rogers says the pressure will be on the home side to retain the title.
"Goulburn have been the form side all year finished on top of the table," he said.
"There will be a fair bit of pressure on Goulburn being at home in front of a home crowd."
Although Goulburn defeated Cooma in the major semi-final two weeks ago, Rogers said the side will go into the match knowing that they can beat Goulburn.
"We have beaten them here at home, we've done it before," he said.
"We will try to control their big forwards and limit our mistakes.
"If we play to our potential we will be in with a good shot."
"We will have to lift another notch."
