Cooma local Gwen Marsh has been recognised for her hard work and dedication to the RSPCA. She has been a member for about 20 years, and has rarely missed a meeting.
She has never said no to any requests for help and in the past has been a wonderful dog foster carer and a champion raffle ticket seller.
CEO of RSPCA NSW Steve Coleman presented Mrs Marsh with a certificate of appreciation for her hard work and dedication to the voluntary organisation over the years.
He was in Cooma for the Cooma RSPCA AGM recently and took the opportunity to visit Sir William Hudson Nursing Home to present Mrs Marsh with the certificate.
It was a well kept secret and Mrs Marsh was completely surprised and thrilled by the visit.
