Cooma's very own X-Factor contestant Vendulka Wichta is using her star power to raise money for the Monaro Committee for Cancer Research (MCCR).
At just 15-years-old, the two time X-Factor contestant has taken it upon herself to organise a charity concert called 'Harmonies for Hope' for the MCCR.
She has assembled a stellar line up of young, up and coming performers.
Vendulka will be performing along with Briden Starr who has also been on the X-Factor, Ruby Phillips, and Alex Richens and Joel Davy who have performed at the Numeralla Folk Festival.
The concert will be at the Cooma Ex-Services Club on November 1.
It's not the first time Vendulka has helped the community.
Two years ago she put on a concert at the Club to raise money for a local woman who was undergoing treatment for cancer.
The woman decided that the money raised should go to the MCCR. That's how Vendulka came up with the idea for this year's concert.
On the night there will be raffles with lots of prizes donated by local businesses, an auction, as well as many performers and a dance routine.
Tickets are $20 and available from the Cooma Visitors Centre.
