Local brothers Charlie and Benny Thompson have done Australia proud after a knockout performance in the ring in Thailand.
The brothers, from Chakola, recently visited Thailand, the birthplace of muay thai kickboxing, for 10 days training.
While there, they both fought in a tournament and defeated their very experienced Thai opponents by knockout.
Charlie's opponent was offered 2000 Thai Baht to knock him out.
The crowd went mad when Charlie came out on top knocking out his opponent with a head kick.
Charlie said it was the toughest fight he has had and was ever so pleased he came out on top.
Money was also put up on Benny's fight, for the Australian fighter to lose.
But following closely behind his older brother, Benny also came out on top by elbow knock out in the second round.
Both boys said it was an unreal experience and the promoters in Thailand have offered both boys to go back to train for a further three months and to fight in a big boxing stadium in Bangkok.
Back in Australia, Benny's next fight is on October 11 at the Goulburn Workers Club with his opponent from Sydney.
Both boys will then fly to Toowoomba to fight on November 9. Charlie's opponent will be flying in from New Zealand and will be fighting for the South Pacific Title.
Benny will be fighting his opponent from Brisbane for an East Coast Title.
