These are bikers of a different kind and they came to Cooma in their droves at the weekend along with more than 60 historic and restored Girder Fork motorbikes.
It was the 19th annual rally and is highly specialised, open only to Girder Fork design bikes manufactured before December 1949.
These bikes are distinguished by their front suspension design which was the dominant design layout for all motorcycles manufactured up to and shortly after the Second World War.
The rally participants love the region and they spent many hours riding to Nimmitabel, Ando, Dalgety and Numeralla.
They came from many parts of NSW, Victoria and the ACT.
