St Patrick's Parish School held its kindergarten to year 6 awards day at the Ex-Services Club on Thursday. Class awards were presented to students for striving for excellence, endeavour, courtesy and citizenship. There were also awards for sporting age champions and cultural awards.
There were also a handful of major awards that were presented to students who had excelled in 2013 and gone above and beyond.
Harriet Greville was recognised with the Strength in Gentleness award, the Sr Louise Prize for Joy & Concern was awarded to Josephine Platts, the Snowy Hydro Altitude Award was presented to Michala White, while Zara Childs received the Brigidine Leadership Award.
The Literacy Endeavour Award from the Cooma Evening VIEW Club went to Cooper Inskip and Ryan Birch received the Cooma Day VIEW Club award.
The Brigidine Citizenship Award was presented to Miranda McGufficke, and Joseph Nichols received the K-2 Good Sports Award. Emily Pearce picked up the 3-6 campus Good Sports Award.
