Nicholas Zusak and Jordan Davis have returned home to Cooma from an excursion to Auckland, New Zealand with the NSW Little Athletics Trans Tasman team with some fantastic results.
Zusak, U12, had outstanding results from the competition, posting two personal best performances. He improved his 200 mts by over half a second to be bordering on breaking through the 30 second barrier. His time for the 200 mts was 30.94 sec. With this extra speed he is producing on the track is helping on the long jump runway. In the long jump he eclipsed his previous P.B. of 3.97 mts in to new P.B. of 4.27 mts. Zusak was also in the 4x100 mts relay for the NSW team which won the bronze medal for third place.
Jordan Davis, U11, was thrilled to be picked in the team and had a beaming smile on his face upon his return home. Davis was placed in one of the field relays on the major day of competition and picked up a bronze medal for their effort. The next tour for Jordan is the possibility the Canada tour when he is 14 or 15 and at High School.
