Zach Smith put on one of the best displays of batting seen at Rotary Oval on Saturday, scoring 165 runs against Dalgety.
Coffeys were sent in to bat on a tacky Rotary wicket and lost two early wickets.
The decision to send Coffeys in to bat first looked to be a good one, before Smith entered the crease.
Smith dispatched the Dalgety bowlers to all parts of the ground, and with S. Summerville (86*) who played a great support role, Coffeys posted 3/260.
Dalgety put up some solid resistance against the often hostile Coffeys attack with E. Hogan getting an early life before being dismissed for 49. B. Smith 36 played a late cameo but the large run chase was always going to be a tough one with Dalgety 9/200 at the end of play.

The win puts Coffeys into second on the ladder behind Jindabyne.
In their top of the table clash, Jindabyne 7/272, L. Tombstone 132*, D. O'Brien 39 defeated Berridale all out 201 L. Redmond 87.
In the final match of round four of the Cooma McDonald's two day competition, the Alpine needed a win to secure their place in the semi-finals but failed once again and were bowled out by the Cats for 100 with the Cats batsmen easily passing the low Alpine total.
