Old pumps and farm machinery from yesteryear attracted a lot of attention from the crowd at the recent Dalgety Show.
Regulars exhibitors at the show, the Bombala Historical Machinery Society didn't disappoint with a variety of old machines with interesting histories to go with them.
Historical Society member Ray Wroe from Berridale had a story to tell about a stationary Lister diesel motor that used to power a refrigerator unit at Dalgety House - the original general store - opposite Iona Cafe.
Mr Wroe explained the motor went to another property on the Rockwell Road after power was connected in Dalgety.
Mr Wroe restored the motor which was lost in the Snowy River for 20 years but is in perfect working order now, despite its time under water.
