Four Monaro High School students developed their leadership skills at a three-day camp last month.
Leos from District 201N2 convened at Berry Sport and Recreation Centre on March 21 for the camp to share experiences with their fellow Leos.
Monaro High School students Jarrod Sopniewski, Peter Craze, Tim Wall and Jerod Blyton participated in the Leo club networking, making friends while enjoying a range of outdoor activities such as kayaking and high ropes.
Participants were required to work together and encourage their peers in these activities, forming friendships along the way.
The weekend also included a forum held by Lions District Governor Allan McDonald to explain the opportunities offered by the Leo program and to listen to the ideas and achievements of the various Leo groups.
Leo Advisor of the Monaro High School Club, Lee Riley, expressed how impressed she was by the Cooma contingent for their initiative, fellowship and positive attitude throughout the weekend.
