Berridale's in the pink, now it's Cooma's turn

THE women of Berridale are turning the town pink this month to raise awareness of the Super Mother's Day Classic Run at Clay Pits Lake Jindabyne.

Karen Peters and the ladies from Trading In Design are encouraging local shops to pink their stores to support the event.

With the colour pink overflowing in Berridale, shops in Cooma and Jindabyne have also caught on and are showing their support.

Businesses can receive 'Pink Your Shop' starter packs from Ms Peters which include the basic needs to begin decorating. Many stores are going one step further in decorating their stores, leaving potential for a possible 'Pink Your Shop' competition next year.

The Super Mother's Day Classic Run is held on May 11 at Clay Pits Lake Jindabyne at 9am.

The committee are encouraging businesses to register and help fund raise for a great cause.

Register online at www.motherdayclassic.com.au or call Trading In Design for a 'Pink Your Shop' starter pack on 6456 4001.
