Green thumbs up for visit

THIS month, the Cooma Garden Club invited Bega Garden Club to join them for a day of garden visiting.

There were 22 people from Bega Garden Club and 10 people from Cooma Garden Club that met at Centennial Park in Cooma.

They began the day by making their way to Lyn Last's home, the President of Cooma Garden Club.

After they all got acquainted, the group then visited eight gardens in Cooma.

Some of the gardens they visited were Dawn McGowan's garden, Elanora Tonizzo's garden and Cooma Community Garden.

After a big day of visiting the beautiful gardens, the group drove to Claire and Han Neumeyer's for afternoon tea.

They also had a chance to take in the beautiful landscape of the Neumeyer home and browse paintings created by Han.
