That's a wrap

THE Wrap With Love convener for Cooma Betty Mattner is pictured above with three beautiful rugs.

These rugs were crocheted by 97-year-old Agnes Murphy who has shown much care to homeless in Australia and overseas.

For the past 12 years, Ms Murphy has crocheted on average three to four rugs a year for the Wrap With Love organisation.

Wrap With Love began in 1992 with the aim to supply warm wraps to homeless people all over the world.

In the past 20 years, the organisation has sent more than 323,000 wraps to more than 75 countries, all with the help of volunteers.

Residents who knit or crochet rugs for the organisation need to have their completed work to Betty by May 22.
