MOTORING enthusiasts are encouraged to attend the third Cooma Hill Climb held at Mount Gladstone this Sunday.

Participants will have the chance to weave their way up the one kilometre track, which has been described as a "power hill", as they race against the clock. The fastest entrants so far have been turbo-charged AWD cars. This is also reflected in the range of AWD cars entered already, including Nissan Skyline, Nissan Pulsar, Ford Laser TX3, Mitsubishi EVO, and Subaru WRX.

The Cooma Car Club are expecting large crowds after big numbers at the two previous races.

There are already more than 25 entires with about 30 cars expected on the hill on the day.

Trophies will be awarded to those with the best times.

There is no charge for spectators and there are two good designated spectator areas. A courtesy shuttle bus will run all day taking spectators and family from the bottom to the top and back again. Food and (nonalcoholic) drinks are available.

Register at www.coomacarclub.com.au or call Chris Reeks on 0407 299 008. Entries close at 8pm tonight.
