THE Cooma Cats continued their winning ways on the weekend with a heavy defeat of an undermanned Tuggeranong Hawks.

From the outset the Hawks struggled to get past a resolute Cats defence bolstered with the inclusions of young Cooma locals playing their first games Tom Inness and Nick Wassink.

The Cats never looked troubled as their slick ball movement and pressure inflicted heavy scoreboard pain on the Hawks before the Cats eased up somewhat in empathy for the young Hawks in the second half.

The Cooma side were eventual victors Cooma 35.23. 233 to Tuggeranong 3.2. 20.

Best for the Cats were Dean Parrot, Nathan Runge and the Subway Cooma Player of the Week went to Tom Inness.

The Cats are now second on the ladder and travel to Ainslie next Sunday for a must win clash with their old foes.
