A man has died after head-on crash near Cooma that claimed the lives of two women in the state’s south yesterday.
Shortly before 2pm (Saturday 18 August), a Honda sedan and Subaru sedan collided on the Monaro Highway approximately 10km north of Cooma.
The driver of the Honda, a 67-year-old man from Farrar in Canberra, was airlifted to Canberra Hospital in a critical condition, however died earlier today.
A woman, aged 67, also from Farrar in Canberra, who was a passenger in the Honda died on the way to Cooma Hospital yesterday.
A woman, aged 62, from Gowrie in Canberra, who was driving the Subaru died at the scene. Her passenger a toddler aged 15 months, sustained only a minor injury.
