ANYTIME Fitness Cooma are promoting a healthy way of life this month as they participate in Dry July.

Dry July is a fundraiser that challenges people to go alcohol-free for a month to support adults living with cancer.

It gives people the opportunity to clear their heads and get healthy, as they raise funds for a worthy cause.

Sarah Atkinson from Anytime Fitness Cooma explained her reasons behind participating in Dry July.

"I'm doing it because somebody in my family is living with cancer and it's supporting a great cause," Mrs Atkinson said.

"It promotes a healthy way of life throughout the gym and the community."

Dry July improves the wellbeing to adult cancer patients by providing funds for better services and environments for them and their families.

The challenge rewards participants with a great sense of achievement and wellbeing, whilst having the chance to focus on drinking habits and a balanced lifestyle.

To donate and sponsor Anytime Fitness Cooma visit the Dry July website at www.dryjuly.com for more information.
