Cooma welcomes Italian exchange students

THIS month the Lions Club of Cooma is hosting two international students from Italy for the Lions International Exchange Program.

Paolo Rosetti and Elena Goretti are styaing in Cooma for three weeks before they head off to youth camps in Wyong and the Whitsundays.

Elena Goretti, 16, from Sansepolcro in Tuscany and Paolo Rosetti, 16, from the city of Ravenna are in Cooma for three weeks from June 28 until July 19.

Both students have busy programs set up with a two day skiing trip, visits to Canberra and Merimbula and basketball training hosted by Monaro High School Leo Club president Jarrod Sopniewski.

Paolo will also have the opportunity to attend soccer training and Elena will visit Birdsnest.

So far both students have enjoyed their trip immensely and look forward to the rest of their trip.

After the three weeks in Cooma and the district, Paolo and Elena will be attending Lions International District youth camps in Wyong and the Whitsundays.
