CAPITAL-Dial-A-Pizza has been awarded a Certificate of Excellence from online travel review site TripAdvisor, following a stack of positive customer reviews about the Cooma business.
Sixty-five reviews of the pizza shop have been posted online, with 62 people rating their experience as either very good or excellent.
TripAdvisor is one of the leading online customer review sites, allowing people to research restaurants, hotels and places of interest to visit.
Cheryl Hennessy the owner of Capital-Dial-A-Pizza says the award is a nice recognition of nine years of hard work.
"I was shocked and happy all at once, it was a surprise as it's the first time I have been nominated for something like this," Ms Hennessy said.
"The excellence award came about because someone nominated us and then the TripAdvisor reviews gave us such a good rating in a short time."
Ms Hennessy works seven days a week at the Sharp Street premises, catering for all taste buds with 33 different types of pizza.
TripAdvisor certificate of excellence awards recognise businesses with outstanding customer feedback, something Ms Hennessy is extremely proud of.
"A lot of reviews are from locals and people coming into the shop, people look online when choosing a place to eat so it's nice to have such great feedback."
Capital-Dial-A-Pizza is home to seven staff and has been kept very busy with the tourist rush of late. Some of the online comments refer to the shop as 'this pizza joint is unbelievable', 'delicious', and 'my favourite part of Cooma.'
