TOP 5: What's on this weekend in and around Cooma

1. See one of the finest musicians of his generation perform live 

Described as one of the finest musicians of his generation, concert pianist Simon Tedeschi is performing at the St Paul’s Anglican Parish Hall, on Friday night. The concert begins at 7:30pm. Tickets are $30 and available at the Fabric Salon.

2. Celebrate 30 years since the Cooma Cats won the premiership 

The Cooma Cats AFL club will commemorate 30 years since winning the premiership at Snowy Oval on Saturday. Past players and coaching staff will return to Cooma to mark the milestone with a reunion. Head along to watch the cats take on Eastlake with first bounce at 1pm. 

3. Win $5,000

Try your luck at taking out $5,000 at the Cooma Stallions Exacta Jackpot at the Cooma Hotel on Saturday night. It has been running for almost 70 weeks and it must go off on Saturday. There are only three boxes left so what will be your lucky number- 4, 7 or 13? The first draw is at 6pm.

4. Have a sausage sizzle for a good cause

There will be a free sausage sizzle and entertainment at the Salvation Army on Sharp Street this Saturday. It starts at 10.30am. Head along for a sausage sandwich and pick up a bargain while you are there. 

There will also be a sausage sizzle in front of Woolworths on Saturday morning raising money for the children's charity, Variety. It kicks off at 11am and run until 2pm.

5. Attend an exhibition opening

Well-known local artist Andrew Dawes is opening his new exhibition at the Raglan gallery and Cultural Centre on Saturday afternoon. Kevin Hambly will officially open the exhibition at 3pm.
