THE Cooma Showground will be bathed in a sea of pink this Sunday as the Cooma Stallions host their annual 'Pull on Your Socks' day to raise funds for the McGrath foundation.

Rugby League will take a backseat for the day as the pinks socks are rolled up in the name of charity.

Entry is free for ladies on the day with a donation made to the McGrath foundation.

A high tea will be provided for all to enjoy whilst taking in the action from stands.

Champagne, cakes and an array of mouth-watering treats will keep spectators more than satisfied as the Stallions' faithful reach deep into their pockets to raise money for breast cancer research and to provide additional breast care nurses across Australia.

Proceedings start from 10.30am with the under 18 side making first use of the showground.

Following this match the Cooma Fillies in their pink attire will look to close out the regular season with a win, in front of what is expected to be bumper crowd come Sunday afternoon.

Spectators are encouraged to wear pink on the day to show their support for the McGrath foundation who continue to assist women and families suffering from cancer.

Reserve grade run out at 1pm just as the champagne is flowing and the smell of afternoon tea wafts across the ground.

First grade are in action from 2.30pm, and the bright pink socks will be proudly displayed as the Cooma Stallions once again come together to raise awareness and much needed funds for one the fantastic group that is the McGrath foundation.
