THE best young voices from across the nation converged on Canberra earlier this month, with Cooma Public School Junior Choir competing in the National Eisteddfod.

Cooma students were accompanied by Mr Phillip Horneman and Mr Michael Horneman who assisted students in months of early morning and lunchtime preparation for the special event.

The Under 10s Choir category saw Cooma compete against Canberra Grammar Year 2 Choir, St Edmunds College Singing Blues and Jindabyne Central Primary Choir.

A fantastic performance was given by all schools in the competition with Canberra Grammar announced as winners of the category.

Congratulations to Cooma Public Junior Choir on their hard work and outstanding efforts.
