WITH less than two weeks until Comedy at the Cooma Hotel, a fundraiser for Snowy Hydro SouthCare, the dynamic group of Emo, Chris, Tom and Hamish are pleased to introduce a fifth performer to their line up - Eddy Nelson.
Eddy hails from Canberra but is originally from Punchbowl, and is a great addition to show.
"I've got four kids, a hypoactive Labrador, a hissing cat and a husband," Eddy says.
"I can hardly find time in the day to dress let alone do stand up comedy but if I didn't do stand up comedy I'd be still doing my old hobby of looking for people's stuff, which involves ... looking for people's stuff - lost socks, homework, teeth, toys, Minecraft houses, and their minds."
Never one to let a complaint on life pass her by, Eddy has much to say on the topics of children, marriage and the lack of decent amenities at camping grounds.
With sold out shows at the Canberra Comedy Festival as well as regular gigs around Canberra's comedy scene, Eddy is looking forward to coming to Cooma to escape the messy house and the noisy children.
Eddy will fit in neatly with the other performers of the night: Headliner Tom Gibson, MC Emo Parsonson, Hamish Hudson and Chris Ryan. They all bring vastly different styles of comedy and many tales to tell. The night will be sure to leave you thinking 'That was funny, what just happened?'
Comedy at the Cooma Hotel is a fundraiser for Snowy Hydro SouthCare held at The Cooma Hotel on Friday September 19.
