The event saw around 300 event support and event management staff.
Two local drivers from Cooma and Berridale entered the sprint race.
Runway Motorsport Australia event organisers Adam Drake and Angela Bartlett were very pleased with the day and said they are hoping to stage a two day event next year.
"We are planning to get spectators closer to the runway next year, and add big screens and more commentary," Mr Drake said.A Nissan R35 GTR won the event reaching speeds in excess of 270km per hour driven by Kevin Westblade of Sydney.
Cooma Police Inspector Peter Rooney said he was very happy with the way the event was run and the behaviour of patrons."There was a good family atmosphere," Inspector Rooney said.
