Cooma came alive on Sunday as more than 100 performers lined the streets for the inaugural Australian National Busking Championships.
Buskers came from as far as Melbourne and Newcastle for the event which saw the streets of Cooma bustling with onlookers who enjoyed the variety of music.
There were many local acts too and several from the coast.
Event organiser Allan Spenver from the Cooma School of Music said it was a fantastic day and he had positive feedback from many businesses.
Mike Martin from Candelo was crowned the champion and took out $1,000 in prize money.
Runner up were the Numeralla Finger Plunkers and Paul Longley. Cooma's very own Vendulka and Vasek Wichta won the secondary school section as well as the people's choice.
Runner up were Cooma's Matthew Ventura and Hannah Newell from Bombala.
In the primary section Kayla and Maddie Gay from Jindabyne won first prize. Amos Walker from Nimmitabel took out second while Oliver Djurkovic placed third.
