The Cooma TAFE disability cooking class cooked up a storm for a special morning tea to mark disability day recently.
Special guests from Cooma Challenge and aged care, Monaro High School, Cooma TAFE teachers and students were treated to a wonderful menu of wraps, cakes and slices.
The class is made up of six special needs Monaro High School students and four young disabled community members.
The group meets every Friday from 9am until 1pm to learn cooking and hospitality skills under teachers Christine Williams and Clare Jackson.
Their final cooking function for this year will be an international Christmas celebration menu at the Cooma TAFE Snowy Restaurant on Friday November 16.
